Jan Gadermann is an award-winning director, writer and stop motion animator based in Berlin. He directed several short films, is co-creator of the cardboard picture book series \u2018Mats & Frida\u2019 and animated on multiple occasions for features, short films, commercials or TV-series like \u201aUnser Sandm\u00e4nnchen\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2022 he completed his studies at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf with a master’s degree in \u2018Directing in Animation\u2019 with the short film \u2018Laika & Nemo\u2019. The film was screened at over 150 festivals worldwide and won a student Oscar, among other awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2025 Jan was admitted to the Berlinale Talents Program and he became a meber of the European Film Academy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
